ACRS 2023
Student and Young Scientist Paper Award
The Student and Young Scientist Paper Award of ACRS-2023 will be given to young authors of excellent papers submitted to and presented at ACRS-2023. No less than 10 winners of this award will be selected in ACRS-2023. The prize of the award will be USD $300 (or equivalent gifts) with a certificate. The application and evaluation procedure of the Student and Young Scientist Paper Award is described as listed below.
Qualifications:
- To be qualified for the Student and Young Scientist Paper Award, the applicant must be (one of the following categories):
- a currently registered student, or
- under 35 years of age, or
- a newly graduated (within 5 years) from a university or college.
- The applicant must be the first or corresponding author of a full paper submitted to ACRS-2023.
- The applicant must present his/her paper in an oral or interactive (poster) session of ACRS-2023 in person.
Procedure and Requirements:
- The applicant must tick the Student and Young Scientist Paper Award checkbox while submitting an abstract online.

The applicant must submit a full paper before deadline.
**IMPORTANT: The full paper will be treated as a new submission to the Asian Journal of Geoinformatics (AJG) and transferred to AJG editorial office for peer-review and publication, if accepted. The applicant must undertake subsequent revision process. Only the abstract of the application paper will be published in the proceedings of ACRS-2023. - The application (full paper and presentation) will be evaluated by appointed judges, session chairs, and AARS Award Committee.
- The winners will be announced at the closing ceremony of ACRS-2023.
