Asian Conference on Remote Sensing (ACRS) is the official technical meeting and annual gathering of the Asian Association on Remote Sensing (AARS), which is fully open to any country and region across the globe. Since its inception in 1980, ACRS has become one of the most prominent conferences in the fields of photogrammetry, remote sensing and spatial information sciences.    ACRS2023 will be held at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center (TaiNEX2), Taipei, Taiwan from Oct. 30 to Nov. 3, 2023, hosted by the Chinese (Taipei) Society of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing and the Center for Space of Remote Sensing Research, National Central University. Taipei successfully hosted two prior ACRS meetings in 2000 and 2011 and both events attracted more than 450 and 850 registered participants, respectively. It is promising that Taipei will organize another successful ACRS again in 2023. ACRS2023 will be the first on-site ACRS meeting since 2020 and based on the numbers of registered ACRS participants before the pandemic, at least 600~800 participants are expected to attend ACRS2023 from more than 20 countries.
